Образование отрицательных предложений

Don't worry. The traffic is very heavy at this hour.

He didn't get a thing to eat.

I didn't really exercise.

Отрицание образуется с помощью частицы not которая следует после первого вспомогательного глагола.

УТВЕРДИТЕЛЬНОЕ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЕ				ОТРИЦАТЕЛЬНОЕ ПРЕДЛОЖЕНИЕ
He	is	reading	a letter.		He	is	*not*	reading	a letter.
They	*have*	returned	from Moscow.		They	*have*	*not*	returned	from Moscow.
She	*can*	translate	the article.		She	*can*	*not*	translate	the article.
You	-	give	English lessons every day.		You	do	*not*	give	English lessons every day.
He	-	lives	in Moscow.		He	*does*	*not*	live	in Moscow.
She	-	finished	her translation in the evening.		She	*did*	*not*	finish	her translation in the evening.
